Emily Ratajkowski Re-Created Carrie Bradshaw's Controversial Outfit in NYC

Emily Ratajkowski Re-Created Carrie Bradshaw's Controversial Outfit in NYC

It’s not hard to see that Sex and the City‘s infamous character still wields a massive influence on fashion—even 15 years after the show’s final episode aired. Just based on the sheer number of Who What Wear stories covering Carrie’s style, you’d think the show never went off the air. But we’re not the only Carrie fans over here. In fact, Emily Ratajkowski just re-created one of Bradshaw’s most memorable looks from season four (coming in shortly after Kim Kardashian West re-created another iconic look).

While en route to an event in NYC, Ratajkowski wore capri leggings with a boxy blazer, mini bag, and ’90s-style mules, and the whole thing instantly reminded me of something Sarah Jessica Parker would have worn in the show (and scroll down to see that she did indeed wear an eerily similar ensemble). Sure, the show’s costume designer, Patricia Field, definitely outfitted Bradshaw … Read the rest

It's Over: 7 Sneaker Trends We're Splitting Up With

It's Over: 7 Sneaker Trends We're Splitting Up With

Welcome to 2019, where bags are getting tinier, sandals are becoming strappier, and sneakers are being worn with anything and everything. We’re taking full advantage of the fact that we can wear sneakers in 90% of situations these days, and we want to ensure we’re wearing the most stylish options possible. Curious which formerly popular sneaker styles you should ditch to upgrade your wardrobe? I asked Who What Wear editors to name the sneaker trends they’re breaking up with this summer (and which trends you can find them wearing instead). We’re putting the debate over trends like like “dad” sneakers and platforms to rest once and for all. Ahead, see which sneaker trends we’re naming as in and out and shop each one we’re here for.

Breaking up with: Sneakerdrilles. Wearing instead: Classic white sneakers. “Sneakerdrilles (aka simple white sneakers with a woven espadrille-like sole) are a trend

21 Beauty Products So Good I Bought Them in Travel-Size Too

21 Beauty Products So Good I Bought Them in Travel-Size Too

While traveling is one of my favorite parts of life, packing for travel is not. I’ve always found it particularly stressful as there’s so much to think about: the weather, destination, activities I’ll be doing, type of hotel bathroom mirror situation I’ll be working with… Do I need a blow dryer? The list of questions that go through my head goes on and on.

One thing that has made it significantly less stressful for me (and given me the ability to actually travel with just a carry-on) is that I’ve recently stocked up on many of my favorite beauty products in travel-size. This has revolutionized my packing experience—I no longer have to figure out which products are TSA-approved as they’re already under the liquid size limit, plus I keep most of them together in my travel cosmetics case, so they’re ready to go whenever I am.

Below I’ve … Read the rest

Here's Why the Internet Thinks Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson Are Engaged

Here's Why the Internet Thinks Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson Are Engaged

In case you haven’t noticed, we’re knee-deep in wedding season. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot recently, and Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman also took their turn down the aisle. However, celebrity weddings aren’t the only thing to look forward to. European summer vacations lend themselves to engagements—as is seemingly the case with Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson. Although they haven’t confirmed the news, they’ve reportedly gotten engaged in Saint Tropez.

As People reports, the internet believes Delevingne and Benson are engaged thanks to photos of both women wearing wedding bands on their ring fingers in Saint Tropez. Considering that Delevingne only confirmed their relationship after their one-year anniversary, it’s safe to say they will be keeping the news under wraps if it is indeed true. In the meantime, we’ll be anxiously waiting for wedding details.

Next, Zoë Kravitz just wore the perfect dress on her honeymoon Read the rest

This Is What Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle Wear When They Have the Day Off

This Is What Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle Wear When They Have the Day Off

We’re used to seeing Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle in carefully styled looks for their numerous public appearances, but it’s rare that we get a glimpse at what they wear during their off-duty time. (It’s always intriguing to see what the royal family chooses to wear when they’re not tied to a specific dress code, as they often are.)

Today in Wokingham, England, the sisters-in-law attended a charity polo match (The King Power Royal Charity Polo Day, to be exact) that Princes William and Harry were playing in. Markle and Middleton attended the match with their kids (yes, including baby Archie) in breezy summer dresses. Markle’s was a simple, oversize, caftan-style army-green dress which she paired with oversize aviator sunglasses. Middleton’s look wasn’t too far from what she typically wears for her more casual appearances: a pink short-sleeve midi dress, crossbody bag, and espadrilles. In conclusion, they could be mistaken … Read the rest

My Grandma and I Both Shop at Zara—Here's What We Want for Summer 2019

My Grandma and I Both Shop at Zara—Here's What We Want for Summer 2019

My Grammie Dianne has taught me many things: A love of convertible cars, that Elvis really is king, and, most of all, a sense of style. We’ve been keen shoppers for as long as I can remember, and she’s always been sure that I knew my own tastes.

My confidence—or perhaps, stubbornness—in knowing my style came directly from my Grammie. With every birthday gift my family gives her, we ensure there’s a gift receipt obviously attached, knowing full well she will choose something better. She knows what she likes, and I’ve always admired her strong sense of personal style.

Though I am trying my best to shop less and shop better, there are times when I find something in Zara I know I will love forever, and my Grammie is exactly the same. We always fawn over each other’s outfits when we see each other, and there is … Read the rest

A Celeb Hairstylist Shares Her Dreamy Wedding Skin, Hair, and Makeup Routine

A Celeb Hairstylist Shares Her Dreamy Wedding Skin, Hair, and Makeup Routine

On July 5, a real who’s-who of the American hair and makeup industries gathered in Prague to celebrate the wedding of one of their own—celebrity hairstylist Sunnie Brook. The L.A.-based hair guru (whose celebrity clients include Elisabeth Moss, Allison Williams, and the Hemsworth brothers) wed her husband while wearing a Carolina Herrera gown, Valentino shoes, and a Chloé bag, later slipping into a formfitting Pnina Tornai dress to cut a rug at the reception.

As for her makeup look, Brook donned a smoky eye, glowy skin, and a rosy lip, and she wore her hair in long, voluminous waves to the ceremony before pinning it into a gorgeous updo accessorized by a custom hair piece she fashioned herself to end the night. We got exclusive access to Brook’s wedding beauty routine—a behind-the-scenes look at how she achieved her dreamy European vibe. Keep scrolling to see how she … Read the rest

Celebs Over 40 Swear By These Holy-Grail Skincare Products

Celebs Over 40 Swear By These Holy-Grail Skincare Products

No matter how opulent your lifestyle or full your bank account, everybody ages—even celebrities. It’s a wonderful thing, really. After all, there is nothing inherently more “beautiful” about skin without lines and spots—all evidence of a magnificent, expressive life well-lived. However, having healthy, protected skin that radiates the youthful energy you feel on the inside is important. Plus, treating your skin well is a healing self-care practice.

Celebrities are at a slight advantage in the skincare department simply because they have access to some of the best estheticians, dermatologists, and skincare products on the market. So over time, they become more knowledgeable and selective about the products they choose to use on their skin than your average consumer.

In order to absorb a little bit of that skincare wisdom from celebrities over 40, we did some digging to find an assortment of products they admittedly swear by—cleansers, moisturizers, masks, … Read the rest

Which Bras Actually Look Seamless Under a T-Shirt?

Which Bras Actually Look Seamless Under a T-Shirt?

Gorgeous lingerie gets plenty of time in the spotlight (who doesn’t get excited about pretty little bits of lace?), but the plain nude bras women wear day in and day out are really the backbones of the intimates world. After all, what do you wear more often: a nude bra or a lace corset? For that reason, I figured it was time to highlight the best bras out there with the ultimate test—evaluating how they look under a formfitting white T-shirt.

I tried a plethora of basic bras and narrowed my favorites down to five standout picks. I think it’s safe to say that the five winners ahead are officially the best bras to wear underneath white T-shirts (if I do say so myself). The best part being that the winners weren’t all the most expensive ones either, so you don’t have to worry about them all being out of … Read the rest

Naomi Watts's Skin Hasn't Aged—Here Are the 3 Nontoxic Products She Swears By

Naomi Watts's Skin Hasn't Aged—Here Are the 3 Nontoxic Products She Swears By

Naomi Watts has perfect skin. In fact, the 50-year-old Australian actress is roughly twice the average Who What Wear editor’s age, and we’re fairly positive she rocks a far dewier, clearer, and healthier complexion than we do. So obviously, we made it our mission to find out all of her best beauty and skincare secrets (instead of seething with envy). Of course, as an A-list celebrity, Watts has access to all kinds of fancy-schmancy facials, treatments, and experts we mere mortals aren’t necessarily privileged to. But when it comes to her actual skincare routine and go-to product line-up, the actress’s strategy is refreshingly streamlined, and she relies on a minimal number of formulas that are both high-quality and nontoxic.

As the co-founder of Onda, a chic destination for all things clean and nontoxic, Watts has access to all the best natural makeup and skincare products in the wellness … Read the rest
