Emily Ratajkowski Re-Created Carrie Bradshaw's Controversial Outfit in NYC

Emily Ratajkowski Re-Created Carrie Bradshaw's Controversial Outfit in NYC

It’s not hard to see that Sex and the City‘s infamous character still wields a massive influence on fashion—even 15 years after the show’s final episode aired. Just based on the sheer number of Who What Wear stories covering Carrie’s style, you’d think the show never went off the air. But we’re not the only Carrie fans over here. In fact, Emily Ratajkowski just re-created one of Bradshaw’s most memorable looks from season four (coming in shortly after Kim Kardashian West re-created another iconic look).

While en route to an event in NYC, Ratajkowski wore capri leggings with a boxy blazer, mini bag, and ’90s-style mules, and the whole thing instantly reminded me of something Sarah Jessica Parker would have worn in the show (and scroll down to see that she did indeed wear an eerily similar ensemble). Sure, the show’s costume designer, Patricia Field, definitely outfitted Bradshaw … Read the rest

Emily Ratajkowski Found a New Summer It Dress to Wear With Sneakers

At a loss for what to wear? Emily Ratajkowski has so many summer outfit ideas for you. The model and activist has been offering up some really solid inspiration for how to wear summer staples like denim shorts and crop tops, and now we’re adding another one of her perfect looks to our list. Over the weekend, she took a stroll in NYC wearing the one summer outfit that always delivers: a printed dress with classic sneakers.

I, for one, have already spotted this combo more times than I can count since June began, but Ratajkowski’s dress is what really caught my eye. She wore one of Réalisation’s newest dresses, the Isabelli ($180), a yellow minidress with the perfect vintage-inspired floral print. I’ve already seen the dress making the rounds among fashion influencers, but now that it has a celebrity stamp of approval, I’m claiming it to be summer’s … Read the rest

Photographed in rainy New York City, Ratajkowski wore everyone’s favorite mall brand: Steve Madden. She chose the cult label’s Erin Leather Shoes, which ring it at an affordable $80 and come in a whopping 10 different colorways, including hot pink, leopard, and yellow. (If you can’t choose between them, Ratajkowski’s white versions are probably a safe bet.) She wore the affordable shoes with an equally wallet-friendly jacket-turned-dress: the Emrata x Nasty Gal Take Cover Belted Jacket ($140). So Emily Ratajkowski Wore the Lowest Low-Rise Pants With a Crop Top

So Emily Ratajkowski Wore the Lowest Low-Rise Pants With a Crop Top

Emily Ratajkowski and her abs took a stroll with her very cute new puppy around NYC earlier this week, and low-rise pants will never be the same. Yes, this is a bold statement, but when you see how she wore them, you’ll get it. You can probably recall back in the early 2000s when It girls like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears turned tight, low-rise jeans into one of the biggest trends of the decade. That trend took a sharp decline earlier in this decade when high-waisted styles became fashion girls’ go-to style. But they’ve been creeping back into relevance again.

EmRata went in the opposite direction of the low-rise styles in years past and wore a pair that was as wide as they were low. She paired the trouser-style pants with a matching double-breasted blazer and white sneakers, which made for basically the most alluring suit dressing ever.
