HBC also became the owner of the Belgan Inno branches and sixteen shops of Sportarena. As part of this acquisition, HBC intends to introduce Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks Off 5th formulas in Germany and Belgium.
Early this year, HBC took over the e-tailer Gilt with plans to integrate it into Saks Off 5th.
the company hoped to open some 40 Off 5th stores in Europe.
